Detail for Lanna Thai Restaurant (closed) : Restaurant, Thai
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Inexpensive menu, efficient service, great-tasting food! Most of the entrees run between $5-plus (for the classic Thai noodle dishes like Pad Thai, Pad Woonsen, Pad Siew, etc) to $7-plus for the dishes served with rice (like the curries, etc.). I ordered the Pad Woonsen, which was excellent. For an appetizer, I usually like ordering a small bowl of Thai Tom Yum soup, but in this case, they didn't offer small orders. Their soups are all above $5 each. Since I was dining alone, I did not order it. Instead, I tried their Karee Puff (Curry Puff), which was very tasty. Service was very basic, fast and unobtrusive. I like it that way as it takes the pressure off of having to leave an enormous tip. Highly recommended if you happen to be in the neighborhood. - grrlpwr, 08/01/2002
