Detail for La Creperie : Restaurant, French
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Located near the corner of Clark and Diversey, this cozy family-run spot has been in business for over three decades. The menu is mostly crepes, with ratatouille and seafood available for dinner, banana liqueur for dessert, and eggs during breakfast hours. Other menu items include French bistro-style fare of steak frites, and onion soup gratinee. Outdoor patio seating available in warmer months. La Creperie is open for lunch Tues-Fri, dinner served Tues-Sat, Sat-Sun brunch. - Alotta, 10/02/2006
DO GO HERE!!!! they have wonderful food and a wonderful atmosphere. They have been serving crepes for over 30 years and La Creperie is a fun and affordable place with great food!!!!!!! The family that owns it are very kind and generous. It's especially great after a movie or in the summer in the patio! Keep up the good work! - John J., 07/11/2006
Don't go here. I used to come here years ago when it was authentic and well priced. It has since been sold to a new owner and the original owner is back in France. In sum: the food is terrible, they use canned mushrooms and cream of chicken in one crepe and frozen spinach in another. Presentation was like fast food, a sprig of parlesy if you're lucky. At a price of $12 a crepe, it's ridiculous. How insulting. This place is NOT what it once was. I give it zero stars. - Ken, 01/23/2006
My husband and I drive from Cleveland just to eat at this restaurant. Well maybe not 'just' to eat at this restaurant, but we definitely eat here every time we come! - Quinn & Selina K, 08/17/2005
GREAT CITY RESTAURANT GREAT FOOD FAIR PRICES GOOD SERVICE.I'LL BE BACK - GEORGE R, 08/17/2005
This is my favorite restaurant in the city. A cozy, warm, intimate atmosphere - perfect for a date or for a night out with good friends. The food is divine - for a perfect (and inexpensive - around $20) meal, have the pate appetizer, the seafood crepe entree, and the Grand Marnier crepe a la mode for dessert. Can't wait to go back. - anonymous, 10/09/1998
