A good, quick option for the pre-Steppenwolf crowd, this Middle Eastern restaurant features a limited menu of mostly meat items. Choose from kabobs of lamb, chicken or kifka, served with sides of roasted veggies, yummy rice, and warm pita slices. Also available are meatless options such as hummus and tabbouleh. Kabul House was great. I noticed that they took a lot of the advice from other comment to improve there restaurents. The food was amazing. It is up there with Rezas and Pita inn. The cozy dining area is very comforting while having tea and chatting. The waitress is ver cheerful and helpful. The appetizers are great, The pumpking was the best. I give it 3 and a half forks out of 4 . The food is not spicy as people may think. It has so much flavor that it makes it unique. The rice goes well with every dish. Very fluffy long grained rice that compliments the kabobs and the grilled tomatoes and greenpeppers. - John M., 04/12/2004
