Cajun takeout joint with a few tables; Po-Boy ($8-11) varieties include shrimp, oyster, trout, alligator, and crawfish. Seafood dinners ($11-14) include a fried catfish platter. Desserts include pecan pie and sweet potato pie. - wm, 03/23/2003

Very sadly this place is now closed. Stopped by on Saturday only to find the windows soaped over. Too bad. This was authentic Nawlins food, at very reasonable prices. Guess the yuppies of Wicker Park didn't support it. - Don H, 01/19/2004
