Honestly, I would just order a pizza from Pequod's or your favorite Chicago Pizza place or bake a frozen pizza for the quality and price. The concept is interesting but just doesn't quite cut it in Chicago, the land of pizza.
This place is an intriguing idea, but didn't impress. You can walk in and have them put together a pizza with the ingredients of your choice. You then take it home and cook it yourself in the oven. They try to be fancy by having a "suggested" menu of interesting topping combos. But it is still a frozen pizza. Frankly, I have had better DiGiorno's .. or was it delivery (ha ha). - n-and-t, 02/06/2007
Pizza is made fresh right when you order it. I've never had a pizza there that wasn't at least good, and they are usually great. - k-dog, 02/06/2007
This fast-growing Chicago-based spot features pizzas with freshest ingredients that you choose yourself at the store, then take home and bake in your own oven. In addition to the basics, toppings include Santa Fe chicken sausage, hickory-smoked bacon,
several unusual cheese options including ricotta and asiago, nearly twenty veggie options including marinated artichokes, poblano pepper, and pine nuts, and a half dozen fresh herbs. A list of Homemades Favorite Ensembles is available as well. - Alotta, 02/08/2007
Had a pizza at there Glencoe location. It was the best pizza I ever had. I don't understand anyone who can't love this pizza. It's so fresh. - Jbird, 11/26/2006
