Very reasonable prices and delicious food made the original Rogers Park location a neighborhood hit. An appearance on 'Check, Please!' caused a huge increase in diners and inspired this second location on Clark. Grandmotherly Hema Potla makes her own chutneys, yougurt, sauces, and marinades here every day. Favorites include a spicy lamb or chicken vindaloo, to a more mild yellow lentil dish that is cooked with lemon juice, tomatoes, and spices.
