Detail for Grand Central : Restaurant, Bar / American
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
We stopped by on a Saturday, at 9pm, and found the place to be not too crowded (although there was no seating at the bar). On tap: Bass, Sam Adam's, Pilsner, Guiness. Outdoor seating during warmer months. Live piano player (rock tunes) during peak hours. We stopped back at 11pm - and there was a line of about 30 people at the door! Not sure what the attraction was - a decent bar, but not worth a half hour wait. About half a dozen plasma TVs. Formerly Club 950. - wm, 05/30/2005
i love the place... it's like a home away from home! it's a great place to start the night off. i love that it can be lounge/ bar like, and that here's a dance floor too - anonymous, 01/22/2007
If you are looking for a place that is loud, open, has a younger crowd (all dressed the same or dressed barely at all), with good food - this is the place for you. The theme of having the entertainment from a piano/singer until 10pm is pretty unique although it was a
wee bit too loud. - Nicole Yaniz, 03/07/2005
Bar seemed only to be filled with cocky 'pretty boys' who spent more time on their hair than the girls. These kinds of bars are a dime a dozen and worth overlooking. Full of young guys pretending to be rich and cool. - tlo, 11/23/2004
