Located near Evanston, this restaurant offers Jamaican food and and array of fresh fruit drinks. - Alotta, 02/21/2005
A few friends and I went there this past weekend and was very delighted about the whole experience. We just returned from a trip to Jamaica and wanted to keep the vibes going. So we checked online and found this place. We were a little hesitant, but it turned out to be better than what we had expected. The decor is very cozy and welcoming. They have reggae music playing in the background and the aroma of the food really gives you a true Jamaican vibe. The food taste even better than some of the food we had while in Jamaica. The jerk chicken really tastes like the one in jamaica . I wanted to see if they actually used one of those barrels like how the guys in jamaica on the side of the road do. Whatever they are using, it is damn good.. - Leiza, 10/27/2009
I guess everyone has detractors. Good to Go has great food. Since Lynette's moved Good to Go has set the curve. The Carribean American Bakery, Island Jerk and Karrin's Corner are close on its heels for dinners. I am not doubting the other post's honesty, but then again, some people still think the Jerk Chicken at TGI Friday's is the same as what we get back a yard! Try the food make up your own mind. I did, and I've been eating there ever since. - Good to Go Fan, 12/31/2007
The food is not that good at all , they don't know how to cook rice well and they have extremely poor services. the owner needs to adjust her attitude, she doesn't know how to accomodate customers or work well with them. This is place I will tell my friends not to ever go back again, neither will I. Boycott the place if you can believe me, I had an extremely bad experience with them. If and when you are having a party there be aware of everything otherwise they will overcharge for nothing. - Nathalie, 12/17/2007
