Enjoy romantic fondue dining including a cheese fondue appetizer and entree fondues such as scallops, lobster, shrimp, chicken, and beef. The flaming chocolate fondue for dessert is a perfect end to this delicious meal. Nightly entertainment enhances the intimate setting. One of the most popular Valentine's Day destinations. - sys, 09/17/2002
Considered by many to be Chicago's most romantic restaurant, this is many a couple's special-occasion destination. A cozy, dimly lit, below street-level dining area with live flamenco guitar paves the way for delicious fondue. The appetizer is a cheese blend of Gruyere and kirsch with fruit and bread. Main course selections include chicken, lobster, beef tenderloin, shrimp, scallops, or a combination plate, accompanied by fresh vegetables and the appropriate sauces. An all-vegetable option is available. The dessert is dark chocolate fondue with cake and fresh fruit. Reservations accepted during the week and early weekend evenings only; expect to wait on later weekend
evenings. Open daily for dinner. - Alotta, 03/05/2004

Geja's Caf, 340 W. Armitage, will feature the tastes of the Chile and Argentina, when the Lincoln Park fondue restaurant hosts its two month South American Wine Festival. Throughout the festival, from April 1- May 30, 2007, wine lovers will be offered an extensive selection of high quality wines from South America, many of which will be available both "by the glass" and by the bottle at low promotional prices. South America is steadily building a reputation as the new Europe of wine production. Theyve really begun to refine their methods of winemaking and are becoming a worthy competitor in the world market, says Jon Ackerman, Wine Director at Gejas Caf. - wm, 04/06/2007
They do not accept reservations on Sat. night for less than 5 people but you can put your name in at 5 when they open for whatever time you want without having to wait around. This is a huge timesaver as it is a long wait otherwise.
Also, do not wear anything too nice for dinner because it will smell like the fondue cooking oil till the next cleaning! This is a lot of fun with a group. I highly recommend Geja's. - A.W., 10/01/2000
