we did stop in during warmer weather. i liked the wood paneled front bar. the giant stuffed bear didn't bother me for some reason, it seemed to fit in. the bartender seemed like he was the owner/manager/whatever and seemed very concerned that everything ws perfect, which is great. i had an interesting and yummy large cucumber type of martini thing. after a long week at work (we stopped in on a thursday night), i was two sheets to the wind, so my objective had been reached. we moved to a nice table outside. i do like food but i wasn't feeling adventurous enough to try anything to gamey ... what if it were "too gamey" and then i had a whole plate of it to contend with? and my eating partner wouldn't go in on the duck tacos since he had a couple of pet ducks while growing up?? whatever. i got the shrimp appetizer for dinner (i often have appetizers as



main courses) which had some kind of delicious relish made out of i don't know what on top and came with toasty bready thingies. my eating partner got a baors meat ruben and gave me a 1/4. it was a rich meat--he didn't think too gamey. very good. great patio area. definitely try this place. - jms, 07/02/2011
