This downstairs restaurant and upstairs theatre is an unusual dining experience. The street-level dining area is painted in bright, attractive colors and accented with intriguing photographs. Appetizers include award-winning a dozen Prince Edward Island Mussels ($7.95) in a broth of tomato, fresh garlic, and herbs, as well as jalapeno-breaded raviolis. Entrees are large in size and include hand-cut steaks to order ($16.95-$24.95), wood-grilled salmon options ($13.95), chicken options ($13.95-$14.95), pasta dishes, sandwiches, and dinner and side salads. Pop upstairs to take in some improv or comedy at the MethaDome Theater. This is a gem. I had the best experience at Frankie J's tonight. My waiter Kevin was relaxed but confident. The wood grilled salmon which is $10 on Mondays, did not know that walking in, was exceptional. Frankie J was all that I read about him. Try the ice tea it is - Miguel C, 08/31/2005
