I grew up on the south side of Chicago, Beverly Park to be exact. I went to grade school with Patty Fox, daughter of the original owner. I moved to Utah in high school and crave Foxes pizza! I have a good friend who comes to visti once in awhile. She isn't allowed off the plane without our pizza in hand! We order the pizza, freeze it and pack it super tight in foil. It makes the 2.5 hour plane ride just fine! But is doesn't last long! I secretly eat it all without inviting my unknowing children to indulge! They don't know what they are missing! We also live in Florida. I've been going to Fox's since Tom Fox opened Beverly Pizza in about 1965 on Walden Pkwy. It's the best pizza I've ever had. When my wife and I come to Chgo. area we have pizza at Fox's every night until we get our fill. I've never had a bad one there. I just wish they would ship the pizzas. - charlie, 01/23/2007

i used to work for tom fox sr. back in the 80's i was a head cook for him in his cicero ave store. the best pizza i ever ate, wish i could still remember the recipe,good food, great atmoshpere, not bad for a irish pizza man - chris, 04/11/2004
