Located in Water Tower Place. Healthy menu options include salads, burritos, and burgers. Buffet style entrees include Mexican, Italian, Asian, and vegetarian selections. - sys, 12/26/1999
Our family has loved foodlife for about nine years already. The food is fantastic! My husband adores the soul food stop. My children eat at the pizza stop. I had the steak burrito recently. Loved it! Foodlife is parent friendly and kid friendly at the same time. - M. Merrill, 04/14/2004
This is a terrific place. Yes, it is a glorified food court...but so what? Sometimes that's exactly what you need. The food here is fresh, delicious, and miles better than your average mall food court. The process of using a card to pay for your items is a little confusing at first, but it only takes one trip to get the hang of it. Don't miss the beef stew at the soup place ... best in town. Highly recommended. - Justin, 11/08/2003
The service you get at Foodlife is rude, RUDE, RUDE!!!! The first time I walked up to one of the food kiosk--not knowing the process of taking a ticket(card) and etc.--I was rudely chastised publicly by the server and she had the gall to egg on other customers in line to ridicule me as well. I'm sorry but I have a master's degree and I DO have some knowledge. And for some server to chastise me in a place where I'll be spending my money was totally, TOTALLY uncalled for. In fact the lunch time servers are downright snippy! I called the management who was patronizingly 'apologetic' in an off-handed way after I got back to my office at the Hancock building. But I have never EVER gone back and informed all my associates and organizations I belong of how this over-hyped food court treats its customers and NOT patronize this establishment if you are spending all this money only to be treated rudely!! The Lettuce Entertain You people should really screen who they hire. I can assure you I will do everything I can to publicize the fact that this establishment treats its customers rudely and take their patronage for granted. - Anony mous, 04/14/2003
WE make it a point to go to Foodlife when we are in Chicago. I ran the marathon in '99 and we ate there for the first time and now a trip to Chicago wouldn't be the same without a trip to Foodlife. - Doug Henderson, 09/26/2002
Very friendly atmosphere. It's setup was elegant & very open. The food was also excellent. A favorite part of Water Tower Place. - Stephanie Rios, 12/06/2000
Lots of fun and many choices. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Its like an open-air market. - anonymous, 07/24/1999
