Upscale dinner club serving Italian and European dishes ; live Greek band every Sunday night. - sys, 06/08/2003
Dark, candleit eatery and nightclub; cigar bar; martini menu. - sys, 12/26/1999
Our dinner at Fly Me to the Moon this evening was the worst meal we have ever eaten in Chicago. Starting with stale bread, over cooked pasta with chicken breast that looked like the chicken meat in a nugget. The overpriced 2.5 oz veal chop should have been an embarrassment to serve. Our underwhelming server repeatedly demonstrated his overall lack of enthusiasm for his work. Even our simple request for butter was met with resistance. Avoid this place at all cost! - Ed and Gina, 10/19/2006
My husband and I visited Fly me to the Moon for our anniversary. We were not sure what to expect, but it sounded like a fun place. As we entered we could have mistaken the restaurant for one from Italy. The food was great and very reasonably priced Also, the jazz piano music in the background made for a very romantic atmosphere. Later in the evening there was dancing which ended the
night off just right. So, if you want to go out for some great food, entertainment, and romance this is my suggestion. - Stephanie from Waukegan, IL, 12/11/2004
We visited on a Saturday night around 9:00. There was excellent live music playing and the ambiance was wonderful. We were sorely unimpressed with the manager's poor attitude and low-quality food however. Our food tasted like it was microwaved. Our appetizer was greasy and bland. We love Italian restaurants for their bread, and we were extremely disappointed that the bread was very dry and quite stale. A short greasy-haired man (the manager I think) was quite rude and seemed to care less about our complaints. While the ambiance and music was very nice, the food and attitude of the manager left much to be desired. We will not revisit this restaurant. - Mike Halpern, 08/06/2003
