Established in 1904 as a roadhouse for those traveling between farms and the city, the tradition of hospitality remains unchanged. An extensive Cajun-influenced menu includes a variety of appetizers and salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. House specialties and entrees ($8.95-$20), served with vegetable and choice of rice or potato, include blackened catfish, Cajun meatloaf, vegetarian stir-fry, rib dinners, filet mignon, and NY strip. Sunday Brunch is 10 am-3 pm, and features a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Fireside is open Mon-Fri 11 am-4 am, Sat 11 am-5 am, Sun 10 am-4 am. - Alotta, 04/10/2006
