We stopped by around 5:30 on a Friday; the place was understandably crowded; we grabbed a couple of stools in the overflow area (by the bathrooms) and grabbed dinner.
The beet salad is a bit small and would make a good side salad ; the pastie was our main course.
We are quite familiar with pasties, having gone to college in Oshkosh WI .. where Hero's pasties were legendary.
Farmhouse did a southern spin on the pastie, using pulled pork instead of the typical gravy and potatoes. We'd consider this an intriguing alternative to the classic pastie.
Excellent beer selection - we sampled the Rev Brew amber, Finch Sapsucker, and Metropoliton Ironworks .. excellent. Try the root beer (pictured below) - wm, 11/12/2011
