Do NOT go here during any special occassions or peak times. I don't know how they operate under normal circumstances as I've heard fairly good reviews before I went, but my family had a HORRIBLE experience there. We went for Mother's Day and it was a mad house. The number of people crammed into the restaurant and the chairs in the aisles was a fire hazard. We were seated in 30 minutes which is reasonable, but we had to ask numerous times before we got our water 20 minutes later. A waitress NEVER showed up at our table so we placed our order by flagging down a passing waitress. It took numerous reminders and another 20 minutes to get our drinks. After ONE HOUR of waiting once we were seated, we finally just left as there was no sign of food coming. I bet our order was never even placed. It ruined our special occassion. I have been eating there for years. It is probably the best restaurant in Chinatown. Look at the faces of the people who are eating there. It will tell the story of how authentic the food is. Also great for take out food. - G. E. CALLAHAN, 01/17/2002
