We stopped for dinner without a reservation, and were lucky to get a table on the top level by the railing - great view! Service was excellent, and our dinner (pork chop, steak) was excellent. Will be back to Epic for sure! Expect to pay $80 for two. - wm, 03/04/2010

I'm basing this scathing review off one horrible visit Summer 2010. My single female River North-dwelling physician friend had her birthday drinks here. It was late and there was a line--they weren't letting anyone in. I needed to get into my friend's party so myself and another female physician had to grease a bouncer $20/each to get through the door. And neither of us fell out of the ugly tree, believe you me. The bouncer's keeping that money and not giving any of it to the bar! THEN we had the worst service from 2 female bartenders--they were doing anything BUT make anyone a drink--which prompted me to not leave any tip/write something nasty



where the tip should have been in the credit card space. That is the only time I have never left a tip. NO ONE should patronize this club. There are better ones in Riv North. My friends need to stop having their birthdays here so that I never have to go again. - jms, 06/11/2011
