Great lunch or happy hour place; located in the Hotel Allegro. Menu items include Carvers ($8-9) - generous slices of meat on several types of bread. Choose from beef tenderloin, turkey, ham, and BBQ brisket. Other selections include salads, a chicken foccacia sandwich, and soups. Recommended: New York cheese cake for dessert. Full service bar; on tap: Bud, Honker's, Sam Adams, Bass, Guinness, Pilsner Urquel. A weekly dose of hiphop, acid jazz, Latin groove, fusion funk and rare groove classics is offered at 8pm every Wed. A red and purple room with velvet-draped booths and a large cherry wood bar with wrought iron accents conveys a luxurious atmosphere for a midday meal or evening cocktail. The lunch menu consists of sourdough-baguette sandwiches such as chicken, baked ham, BBQ brisket, veggies, and more; each is served with a choice of condiments. A bar menu includes hot wings with bleu cheese, duck quesadillas, and shrimp spring rolls. Live music is offered later in the evening, and complements unique martinis such as a
