Excellent diner dishes at a great price. Selections include salads, pizzas, burritos, quesadillas, skillets, omlettes, Zydeco chicken, chicken stir-fry pita, Philly cheese steak pita, gyros, burgers, turkey breast, and more. Open late. Recommended side: Northshore Potatoes. - sys, 12/08/2001

i went to this dinner for a sunday brunch with my girl friend. she had a veggie burger and i order pancakes and eggs. service was pretty slow even though the restaurant was less then full. when we finally got our food that was the last time we saw our server until the bill. veggie burger was good but the breakfast was not. pancakes weren’t cooked all the way and potatoes tasted funny. when i told my waitress about less then satisfactory food sorry and left the table. not pleased with that response i paid the bill and asked to speak to the manager. however, even the manager made me feel as though i was trying to get a free meal although all the food that i ordered was still right in front of me and my bill was already paid.



over all, with plenty of great dining experiences to be had in chicago, i wouldn’t recommend this one to a friend. - its a diner, with bad pancakes and poor, 04/13/2009
