This counter-service cafe features an array of coffee and tea beverages, sandwiches, wraps, soups, and tasty desserts. The space is divided in half with a large-screen TV and overstuffed furniture up front and table seating in the back. I've been to Chicago Rhythm Cafe a few times and it has the enviorment and the gourmet cooking to keep me coming back. The Lavazza brand coffee might be a little strong at times but its just what i need to wake up in the morning. Their jerk chicken wraps are so good that i order one to eat there then one to take with me for later. And they have spoken word and live music every other saturday night. I was at the first event that featured Maja Rios and it was great. The decor is beautiful and the environment is so relaxing. If you are looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat or to dine in on comfortable couches, watch movies, listen to music, work on the computer, or just meet with friends and chat this is the place to go. - a chicagoland coffee drinker/cosplayer, 07/15/2006
I'm sorry, but this is probably the worst coffee place i've been to in chicago. The coffee is horrible, i don't think they are making it properly. It's really bitter and they just explain that 'It's italian style' Even though my friend grew up in italy and she says that the coffe isn't italian, it's just burnt.
