This coffeehouse was a neighborhood bar from the 1930s until recently. The original Art Deco touches remain amidst an updated decor. Metropolis coffees and teas are the centerpiece here, ordered pre-brewed or in individual French presses. Other beverages include milkshakes and smoothies. Food choices include various bakery items. A back hallway connects Charmer's to its sister establishment, Dagel and Beli, where you can order from their menu and bring it back to the coffeehouse. Charmer's is open Mon, Wed-Fri 6 am-8 pm, Tues 6 am-10 pm, Sat 7 am-8 pm, Sun 7 am-6 pm. - Alotta, 10/06/2006
