A party of ten of us went July 2003. The service was poor, and the food wasn't any better. The dinner rolls seemed generic, the ribs had little meat and were quite dry, the pulled pork looked and tasted like beef even though the waitress insisted it was pulled pork. The cole slaw was very good, but that's all. The nine of us were quite disappointed. Fortunately, we found many other restaurants during our stay that were great, but Carson's was one of them. - d. s. h., 08/02/2003

By far, the best ribs in the nation. Excellent food! Even drove cross-country from Utah once, JUST to get to Carson's in Chicago, then stopped for a game at Wrigley Field. Classic! i ate there back in may of 2007 and i am still dreaming about it.
