Sports bar and grill features pool tables and numerous TVs throughout the space; menu includes burgers, pizza, and other pub fare. Open for lunch Sat and Sun. - wm, 08/29/2004
This neighborhood tavern features a variety of tasty foods such as garlic fries and a good Gulf Shrimp roll. Regulars are hooked on the cracker-thin crust pizza and a to-die-for brownie dessert. Weekly specials include two-for-one pizzas on Tuesdays; live music offered Wednesdays. Open for lunch Sat-Sun; dinner served nightly. - Alotta, 10/12/2005
I love this place...it's perfect, food is great drinks are strong and the waitresses are cute, what else do you need? - Ropa reg, 07/28/2009
For a long time, we went every Tuesday for the two for the price of one pizzas (and the garlic fries!)- but then we learn about the $1 burgers on Monday nights (comes with lettuce, tomato and fries - cheese costs $1 extra) and we were hooked. It's become our Monday night destination. These oversized sliders are addictive and so yummy we never even miss the cheese. This place is a real gem. - Cander, 10/18/2007
What draws you in is the
great retro atmosphere. What keeps you coming back is the awesome food and friendly staff. This is a kid friendly, comfortable, clean, fantastic hang-out, a great place to get the family together for a meal, or meet up with friends. The pizza is delicious. The drinks are all good. We try to come here at least once a month. If you want to watch a game, there are plenty of TV's to do so. - Franny, 06/18/2007
I am drawn to this place because of the way-cool and retro sign out front. It looks to be an old fashioned bar and restaurant. I had a great pizza there last week and reasonably priced. However, I really hate all the TVs that are installed. How many TVs does a 'sports bar' need? What if you want to go there and not see a TV? Is there any place to face without seeing one? There is even a TV in the ladies rest room. When I was there, there were only 3 tables full. Do all of the 9 TVs in the place have to all be ON? It seemed I could not escape it. I'd like to go back, but must really consider the atmosphere....thanks. - A Roger's Parkian, 02/09/2007
They changed the pizza recipe and it is absolutely horrible. It used to be the bast pizza on the northside, now....I thought it was a frozen pizza. Good beer selection though....too bad. - A Neighbor nearby, 11/30/2006
They changed the recipe of the garlic fries and I won't be back until the revert to the original recipe. Shoestring fries with the idea of garlic and a spritz of lemon juice are not worth the trip. Sorry guys, you had a winner and it is gone. - Leah, 10/08/2006
Cool waitress, great ribs, fresh ingredients on the pizzas, awesome italian beef sandwiches, fun place after softball games, NU football games, and Cub games - anonymous, 02/22/2002
