Enjoy made-to-order French cuisine in this outdoor-centric restaurant. A partially tented area is open most of the year and features gardens, fountains, a fish pond, and waterfall. A walled-in garden area features jazz on Sundays. - Alotta, 09/19/2003

Le Loup has outstanding prix-fixe menus for special holidays like Valentine's Day. Try to get a table near the mesmerizing saltwater aquarium. I love the warm mom-and-pop atmosphere. - Allison Gilley, 12/06/2001
Definitely has one of the best dining gardens in the city. The small waterfall adds a touch of Europe. The food is excellent, and the service is great. They don't rush you, so don't rush them. This is a traditional European dining experience -- you're there for at least two hours and the staff wants you to take your time. It is a BYOB place so this makes it an economical place to eat. I've frequented this place since 1992 and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Ask about the 1/2 wolf, 1/2 dog who is usually out back -- quite the charmer. - Billie Oshana, 04/03/2001
