This Roscoe Village eatery is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast items include egg dishes, pancakes, French toast, and lighter fare such as fruit and yogurt. The lunch and dinner menu includes a soup of the day for $5.00, unique salads, and appetizers in the $6 - $9 range such as potato tacos topped with a poblano chile sauce and lobster spring rolls. Entrees include vegetarian, pasta, seafood, chicken, steak, pork, and lamb selections in the $9 - $20 range. The food is delicious, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is friendly and homey. There is a small bar area, and don't forget to ask about dessert! Delivery available for $3, Wed - Sun evenings. - wm, 02/06/2003
We made our Thanksgiving reservations here, and we left before we even got our bread. The table next to us was full of screaming children and the hostess complained that the people eating should hurry up since they had so many people waiting. The food looked pretty bland--no one had leftovers, which was something that they had advertised. We won't
go back. - james, 11/26/2004
My friend and I stopped by for a Sunday breakfast and had a great meal. The atmosphere was lively but not overcrowded. The service was friendly and attentive--our waitress stopped by our table twice, and also delivered our food personally, which doesn't happen too much these days. The coffee never ran out. I opted for the Nova Lox and cream cheese bagel. All ingredients were of high quality and of ao good portion size. My friend got the blueberry pancakes the likes of which I have never seen in Chicago! There were REAL blueberry pancakes--blueberries IN the batter instead of plopped on top, and the two pancakes totally filled up the plate. As good of an eater as he is, even he couldn't finish them all. We'll definitely go back there for breakfast, and I plan to order the blueberry pancakes! - Babs A. Rooney, 02/06/2003
