I visited the Big Downtown twice during August 2002. On both occassions the meal and service were excellent. The atmosphere is vibrant; and the bar staff would let me sample the local Chicago beers I was unfamilar with, before I ordered. - Richard R, 09/02/2005

My husband and I stayed at the Palmer House and the best meal we ate had to be at the Big Dowtown. We had steak with Merlot sauce and it was to die for.



We also returned on a Wednesday night and had live entertainment and the best pizza!!!! I wish Longivew Texas could have such a selection of resturants !!!!I can't wait for my next trip there!!! - jacquie w, 09/02/2005
