Enjoy legendary Berghoff food for lunch, served in a jiffy and at a good price. Menu items include soups, side dishes, an array of lunch salads under $6, cold and hot sandwiches in the $5 range, and daily specials. Quietly reopened in late April, Berghoff Cafe features much of the same menu, prices, and decor. Noticeable changes include a new staff of much younger non-unionized servers. Look for menu additions such as panini sandwiches and tapas in the months ahead. - Alotta, 07/11/2006

I stopped at Berghoffs while layed over in Chicago. I ordered there corned beef on rye, and they sliced a corned beef roast right in front of me! The bread was fresh, and the saurkraut was perfect! It was the best sandwich I've ever had! - JoAnna, 11/11/2003
