This most recent offering from the folks who own Blackbird, this spot features hickory floors, light cedar slats, and blond oak benches that surround five eight-top communal tables. An eclectic menu features items such as homemade salami, artisanal cheeses, and small plates fired up in the wood-burning oven. For heartier appetites there are panfried sardines with Serrano ham and olive tapenade, and roasted rabbit accompanied by escarole, fall squash, and sage-and-brown-butter sauce.
