We stopped by on a Tuesday, and found the place surprisingly busy. In a nutshell: cool vibe .. music from a reel-to-reel .. breakfast served all day.
We sampled the salmon duo with egg, toast and shallots .. excellent, and only $9! Wow, a cool place with decent prices .. BUT .. when the check came we found that our beers were $12 each.
36 different brews on tap; menu features several breakfast items, sandwiches, and burgers.
Most notable aspect of Au Cheval: the chefs and kitchen are behind the bar - what a great concept! - wm, 04/03/2012
