Detail for Andalous : Restaurant, Moroccan
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Proprietor Hadji Mohamed and his wife, Rachida, who does the cooking, put a personal touch on this Moroccan dining experience. Choose from items like Tangier tagine, which are fillets of catfish baked with green pepper, tomato, thin carrot slices and potatoes in a garlic sauce; and pastilla, which is layers of chicken, phyllo, and spices. Desserts include selou, a one-inch square pastry made with finely ground sesame seeds and nuts. Open for lunch Sat-Sun; dinner served nightly; BYOB, no smoking. - Alotta, 03/02/2004
This is where Moroccans dine if that tells you anything about this place. While Hajji is charming the clientele, his wife is cooking away the most delicious authentic Moroccan food you’ve ever had. Whether you are a vegan, or just not familiar with Moroccan food, let Hajji recommend a dish that will make you come back again and again. Don’t forget to try the mint tea. Hot or cold, it is a truly delicious treat. - Ben, 02/01/2005
