My elderly aunt and I eat at Alps West Restaurant every Saturday morning. The food is really good, with a wide variety of dishes; the atmosphere is upbeat and warm, and the service is prompt and friendly but, most of all, I have to mention the courtesy and kindness shown to my aunt. She must use a walker and has to negotiate the doors and the aisles but they make sure that her way is clear and safe and see to it we get a table as quickly as possible. Other restaurants would view this kind of patron as a nuisance but we are always welcomed at Alps West Restaurant and look forward to our Saturday meal there. - Josephine Kish, 12/02/2003
