Inspired by the Food Network's 'Iron Chef," this event pits teams of local poets against one another in a head-to-head creative combat. The party includes a delicious buffet dinner from Chicago restaurants, an assortment of wine, and a chance to win prizes. The night of entertainment will include our Iron Poet competition with audience participation, music, a one-time display of original art, and a silent auction. Our VIP guests will enjoy a variety of fine wines at their private bar, as well as access to an exclusive seating area where they can savor a buffet dinner of gourmet cuisine from Chicago restaurants. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Guild Complex, a non-profit community-based organization that promotes cross-cultural dialogue through literary performance, readings, and workshops, as well as professional and artistic development of Chicago's writers.
