    Detail for St. Patrick's Day Parade - Grant Park : Mar 15 2008 - Mar 15 2008 4:00PM
Parade starts at noon. The route runs on Columbus from Balbo to Monroe.

Parking option (for those willing to walk for ten minutes): Park on south Canal street, between Taylor and Roosevelt. There are plenty of metered spots, $4 in quarters should be enough. Walk east on Roosevelt to Columbus, then north a few blocks to the Parade route. - Alotta, 03/11/2006

To see the Chicago River dye process: Get there at 10am ... try to get a spot by the rail, EAST of Michigan Ave. The Dye Boat does not go west of that bridge. Dye process usually takes place between 10:15am and 11am. - wm, 03/11/2006
