Most 2006 events take place in the Leland/Western Ave/Lincoln Ave area. Festivities include opening ceremonies at 7 pm on Friday, the popular Von Steuben German Day Parade at 2 pm on Saturday, and a Commemoration Ceremony at St. Ben's church, 2215 W. Irving Park, on Sunday. - Alotta, 02/03/2006
Update 2007: 5pm-10pm Friday, 12pm-9pm Sat/Sun. Admission is free! A large beer (includes mug) is $12. Brat plate with sauerkraut is $7. Pretzel is $2. This fest is a lot of fun - best to get there before 8pm, as it does get real crowded. - wm, 09/29/2007
