BenFest is St Benedict's annual outdoor festival where members of the Chicago community join together to celebrate the neighborhood, enjoy a unique family friendly summer event, and raise funds for the Schools and Parish of St. Benedict. Doors open at 4:00 pm.
Great music featuring many local favorites. The Friday night line-up is How Far to Austin (6:00 pm) and Infinity (8:00 pm). The Saturday night line-up is Open to Suggestion (5:00 pm), Eric Howell's Greatest Hitch (7:15 pm) and Send in the Clones (9:15 pm). - wm, 03/30/2010
Activities for ALL ages (inflatables, Hooligan, beer, food, Kids Block, Tween area, etc) and a raffle. Top prize in the raffle is a $10,000 cash prize.
Admission price is $5 before 8 pm and $10 after 8 pm. Kids Block wristbands are $10 for unlimited rides or $1 per ride. Located in the St. Benedict Churchs courtyard at 2215 W. Irving Park (at Leavitt) in the North Center neighborhood. - wm, 03/30/2010
