Considered one of Chicago's best musical events by local radio stations, this Lakeview community event features continuous band performances on three distinct stages. In addition to great music, offerings include food, arts and crafts, and kids' events. Hours are Sat 12 pm-10 pm, Sun 12 pm-9 pm. - Alotta, 04/20/2005
Tribute bands were the mainstay at this year's fest: covers of Poison, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Pink Floyd, and Bon Jovi were among the many tracks screaming from the three distinct stages.
Beer ($5 for 12 oz) offered at the fest included Bud, Bud Light, and Goose 312. Sangria is also offered.
There are two liquor stored within the bounds of the fest - a LOT of fun-seekers grabbed a King Can ( $3 ) with a handy paper bag wrapper!
Good selection of food: BBQ, Thai, Cheese Steak, and (of course) gyros.
