although star top was unique, especially when it fisrt opened, it quickly scummed in to new york trend of being over the top be rude to your customers and they love it fad. when the waitress said to me after I complained about my over cooked food, "well fuck you" I left and soon after when the fad became old they were gone. sorry to see such talent in the kitchen gone to waste. - mark, 07/24/2011

the star top was truly one of the most amazing restaurants i can remember- it was chic, it was cool, the food was always amazing- bill with his drink cart and michael...god rest his soul- was just amazing. it was underground and sexy and ahead of it's time. i miss it. - amymortonlevin@gmail.com, 03/05/2011
