This local venue features some of the hottest local (and sometimes national) bands. Capacity is about 500 people, yet there are some nice areas to sit and relax in. - sys, 12/26/1999

I saw a Honky Tonk band there last night called True Historians. Pretty amazing. The place was jammed and they had the whole old country western git up. Their original stuff sounded great. I'm glad the Double Door is adventerous enough to do something other than just pop cover bands. They know how to pick the music before everyone else decides its 'cool'. - Dan, 07/21/2006
