I have great memories of this place.... I named it. The owners wanted to call it Fi Tapa Kega. We had just painted it green with a giant black crack though it. Ugliest thing in the city. We had a bouncer across the street nicknamed big nasty. I stuck a small sign outside that said the big nasty bar...... Well it stuck. Nice to see they lasted that long. - Mcguyver Dave, 09/16/2011
I miss the Big Nasty almost as much as I miss Bamboo Bernie's. (They were across the street from each other during the same ears.) I still have my memories and a Big Nasty t-shirt with a cigarette burn hole in it. Good times. - jms, 06/11/2011
I had a blast at this place. Silly string everywhere on ground floor, decent dance
