This museum, housed in the former Oak Bend Mansion which is a neo-Gothic structure that was built in the 1870s by Aaron Davis Williams, contains a large collection of African artifacts, Afro-American paintings, and a slide archive. Open Tues - Sun 1 pm - 5 pm; by appointment for groups. Admission: $4; $3 students and seniors. - alotta, 10/09/2001
