This 1668 mansion was immortalized in Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel and is the center of a unique historic site on Salem Harbor. Tours include the secret staircase, period gardens, and Hawthorne's birthplace; museum shop. Open M - Sat 10 am - 5 pm, Sun 12 pm - 5 pm.
