This 1796 house was constructed by Charles Bulfinch for Harrison Gray Otis and his wife, Sally. This congressman/lawyer and future mayor of Boston typified the new aristocracy that emerged after the American Revolution. The Federal Style is emulated in the house's classic architecture and elegant furnishings. Open W - Sun 11 am - 5 pm.
