Enjoy Tuscan/Mediterranean food on two floors of this five-floor entertainment venue. Top three floors include a two-story nightclub and a refined third-floor bar. Private function rooms available. Some friends wanted to try out this restaurant over the weekend. So, to be on the safe side, I made a reservation. We were all there 5 minutes early and we informed the receptionist of our reservation. She said that the tables were freeing up and it would be a few minutes. But 20 minutes after our arrival and 15 minutes beyond reservation time, we were still not seated. But tables were freed up to be taken others who came later! We asked again and they said it wouldn't be long. When we asked why were others who came later but seated ahead of us, all they could manage was that the tables were not meant for our number of people. So, we waited and repeated this frustrating routine. Finally, after 45 minutes waiting beyond our scheduled reservation time and still unseated, we left. The conclusion is that I can't explain why a service oriented restaurant: (1) can't fulfil a promised reservation; (2) be more up front with the waiting customers; and (3) posssibly treated us differently because we were the only group of minorities there. Lastly and sadly, they not only lost some business that evening but alot more future customers because we definitely will relate this bad experience to many others. - Y, 05/07/2003
