We ate at Saraceno's in October '07. It was raining. They took us downstairs where I slipped on the white tile and fell. Someone helped me up. We ordered 2 Caesar's and a glass of wine each. They served ordinary French bread with butter pats--ugh. The salads were ok--$17.00 for two. The bill was $37, meaning each glass of what we assume was just "house" wine was $10. They spread sawdust on the floor AFTER I fell. Evidently people have fallen before. I wrote to the restaurant after we got home. The owner sent me a check for $50. That was nice. - Diane, 12/13/2007

I was raised Italian - eat it several times a week. I've eaten countless meals on the hill in St. Louis. And I love several places in Little Italy in NYC. This is by



far the worst restaurant at which I have ever dined. The food was adequate and the server we had was the snootiest person on Earth! Stay as far away as you can. This place was actually recommended to us by the Conceirge at the Hyatt. - amszyh, 04/12/2004
