Every year since 2002 a Connecticut all girls prep school, Greenwich Academy, returns to Ricardos religiously with parents, coaches, family and friends. Ricky and Richie Jr. happily accomodate us on a Saturday night at a moments notice with 40-60 people in tow. Never too many, always happy to have us. They make us feel like old family friends. The food is outrageous and the service and ambiance is second to none. We can't wait until next year. - dan a, 03/04/2007
Dined there the other night -- six people, six different entrees, every one of us thought it was the best version of that particular dish we'd ever had. And the tiramisu -- wow! Appetizers, insalata, entrees -- all first rate, very
affordable. Can't wait to go back! - Kathy, 08/20/2003
I have been to this restaurant many times. The food is cooked by the owner and his son which they do a marvelous job. Their lobster ravioli appetizer was succulent. I try different dishes all the time and they all are excellent. They serve a traditional style menu specials like Grilled Salmon served with risotto. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and service is always great. Nice atmosphere with their new open windows. Well I just wanted to give praise to Ricardos, so if you want an excellent meal, you should try this restaurant out. - Karen, 05/29/2003
Food was superb and the ambience was outstanding. One of the best restaurants in the North End. I had the veal scallopini marsala and it was out of this world! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Boston. Loved it! - Mindy, 05/23/2003
Food was bland. Haven't they heard of basil, oregano and garlic? My chicken parmesean wasn't even breaded! What a sin! And, the owner haggled with an older lady over a coupon with such tiny print that she couldn't even read it. If it was my place, I would have given her the 20% off rather than lose a customer. Not a nice place. - John, 08/17/2002
