Chef Chang's House on Beacon Street on the Boston/Brookline border is a wonderful place for a casual meal, whether it be lunch from the extensive luncheon menu or a dinner feast with friends. Their Peking Duck is fantastic, as are their egg rolls and tofu plate. I especially like their hot and sour soup, which is more interesting than at many other Chinese restaurants. Chef Chang's is a wonderful Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect even though it is in the center of the busy streets. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and care about you. One of the unique things about Chef Chang's is when a party orders a duck. The chef himself carves the duck right there infront of the party, it is quite a sight. I would personally recommend starting with a bowl of Won Ton Soup... talk about amazing. Some of the best dishes included Hunan Beef, Spicy Tangy Green Beans and Oodon Noodles. For desert, a classic



fortune cookie, along with some pineapple and a little bit of ice cream and a steamy cup of tea. I have treasured every time I go to Chef Chang's. - B. Cheney, 04/22/2005
