This Boston institution is world-renowned, and has catered to a clientele from all over the world for 37 years. Being a native Bostonian this was first and LAST vist to Anthony's Pier 4. First of all, what kind of seafood restaruant does not offer Lobster Pie on the menu! Ok, dissapointed but I got over it. I ordered the boiled lobster and was extrememly dissatisfied. The lobster was small and worse, tough! The baked potato was cold and I had to ask for butter and sour cream. The waiter's command of the english language left a lot to be desired. I inquired about an item on the menu and could barely hear or understand



him. He was however, courteous and pleasant. I was completely mortified with the lack of cleaniness. The restrooms were filthy! Absolutely fitlhy. The stall doors did not lock as well! Eewww.... Will never return and will strongly not recommend this restaruant to anyone! - Caznas, 03/05/2006

Over-hyped. Greasy, fatty food that is as bland as bland gets. The only surprising thing about this restaurant is that they have the gall to charge as much as they do for their underwhelming meals. On the positive side, their walls are covered with photos of 20th Century luminaries. Interesting, but photos won't make up for the rest. - Stéphane Ippersiel, 07/10/2003
