Open M-F 7am-3:30pm ; serving a variety of entrees for brunch / lunch. Desserts include cream pies, strawberry cheesecake, cashew pralene cheesecake, carrot cake, as well as birthday and wedding cakes. Beer and wine available also. - sys, 05/27/2001

A nice Post Boxing Day lunch with my family and friends turned into a nightmare. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by a very disgruntled waitress who mumbled about some other customers while cleaning off the table. Upon being served I was brought the wrong drink. I decided to say nothing and just place my order. The 5 of us placed our order without her writing anything down- a fishcake on a bun sounded good but I am allergic to onions so I specifically asked if they contained onions. Without hesitation the answer was no.... so I proceeded to order it with fries. Everyone's order came and sure enough my friend who had ordered before me said her fishcake had onions.. so before taking a bite I looked through and sure enough there were onions. Now I am annoyed... I call Lisa over and tell her that I could have been very sick if I had eaten this... and all she did was make excuses for herself while apologizing- but that wasn't good enough... what is an apology supposed to do for me if I am laying in a hopsital bed and can barely swallow because she couldn't be bothered to check for sure with the chef to see if it contained onions. So then after everyone had finished eating my friend was yet to receive her fries..... annoyed beyond belief we get up and go to the cashier. She calls the waitress over and I tell her that I will not be paying for my fish my drink or my fries and in addition to that I refuse to pay gratuities. After wasting my entire lunch hour, ruining what should be a fun post holiday lunch and the fact that I could have been deathly ill- I decided to make it known to others the horrific event that I was unfortuante enough to experience. - EXTREMELY UNSATISIFED CUSTOMER, 12/27/2006
